Experienced Underground Operations Specialist

As an underground all-rounder, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our mine.

Our Service Crew team is responsible for installing and repairing services and ventilation systems, building vent walls and installing cable bolts, prepping drill holes and maintaining high housekeeping standards, and operating heavy diesel equipment and cleaning mono pumps.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Installing and repairing services and ventilation systems

  • Operating heavy diesel equipment and cleaning mono pumps

You will lead by example, spot hazards, and help eliminate risk-taking behaviours. You will also keep an eye on environmental responsibilities around UG operations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 months of service crew experience
  • Minimum 18 months of underground mining experience
  • Current manual C Class Driver's Licence
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Current Police Clearance

You will be a team player with solid communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a knack for solving problems. You will plan well, make confident decisions, and always look for ways to improve.
