Role Overview

The Transformation Lead will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple concurrent ICT applications projects, from initiation to closure, according to client project management methodology.

You will facilitate the refinement and definition of project scope, negotiate and manage access to and performance of ICT resources, prepare project management artefacts, and lead regular project status meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the refinement and definition of project scope, based on the approved project brief and costing, with business and ICT teams
  • Negotiate and manage access to and performance of ICT resources across a matrixed organisation
  • Prepare project management artefacts including ICT Delivery Plan, Project Change Requests (where required), fortnightly project status reports, project financial spend phasings and forecasts, risk register, issue register and change register
  • Facilitate the review and approval of technical artefacts such as user/functional specifications
  • Lead regular project status meetings involving all Agency stakeholders; and
  • Act as first point of contact for risks, issues and conflicts between ICT teams and between ICT and business
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 6+ years of Project Management / Delivery Lead experience
  • Agile project delivery experience
  • Must be an Australian Citizen, if you don't currently have an active Baseline Security Clearance and the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to effectively recognise and adapt to change
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High level of enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and highly self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
