Familial Mediation Expert

This is a part-time contract opportunity, working 4 days a week (28 hours). The role is located at a counselling and mediation centre in Wollongong.
You will be required to work on Wednesdays. As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, you will provide familial resolution to families post-separation who are experiencing various levels of conflict and unable to reach agreements about children or property.
- You will be working with a dynamic team of FDRPs and therapists to support families holistically.
The ideal candidate will have accredited status as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, or be eligible for accreditation. A tertiary qualification in law, psychology, or social work is also desirable.
- Understanding of child inclusive mediation practice.
- Knowledge of family law legislation.
- Community services experience, especially those relating to families experiencing relationship difficulties.
- Child protection awareness.
- Able to work independently and contribute to the functioning of the team.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and writing skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Meet program-specific client targets.
