Expert Support for Patients with Complex Needs

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to lead the way in delivering expert, compassionate support for patients with complex needs within Paediatrics.

This is a temporary position until 30 November 2025 with the possibility of extension at same or reduced hours. The successful candidate will have a strong background in research-based clinical practice, education and professional leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of evidence-based clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Mentor and educate nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and projects

Requirements
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Minimum five years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field and postgraduate qualifications relevant to the field of practice
