About the Job:

This Product Manager position based in Melbourne or Sydney is responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy, including budget management.

The role will conduct annual strategic audits of the product portfolio to identify growth opportunities.

Researching market trends to develop competitive marketing strategies and align product vision with company goals is imperative in this position.

You will monitor market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and support the sales team.

You will oversee product life cycles, including pricing and margin management, and evaluate market potential for new product development or in-licensing.

You will build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders and stay updated on product knowledge and clinical developments.

You will foster strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to drive marketing and sales strategies and develop product training materials and manage product forecasting, inventory, and pricing.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years' hands-on marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in a similar role, and preferably have previous experience as a sales rep in hospital or primary care in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrable business planning skills, analytical, and strategic.
  • Willing and able to work in the office and travel interstate every month.
  • Preferably science, health-related, or marketing tertiary education qualifications.
  • Preferably Medicines Australia qualification.
