We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Virtualisation Specialist to join our highly skilled team in a Federal Government Department. This exciting opportunity involves building, configuring and maintaining virtualized server fleets across multiple domains.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise to project and business areas, maintaining and monitoring the Virtual service environments, configuring and deploying virtual services and servers, and ensuring high level communication skills and experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Responsibilities
  • Providing technical expertise to project and business areas
  • Maintaining, monitoring and upgrading the Virtual service environments
  • Configuring and deploying virtual services and servers

This is a great opportunity with a Federal Government Department to work in a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to the growth of the department's IT infrastructure.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Windows Server/Virtualisation Specialist
  • Experience in supporting Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, SCCM, Hyper-V and SCOM
  • Experience with VMware ESX, vSphere, vRA, vSAN, NSX and virtualization on HCI
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, AWS, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible and Puppet is highly desirable
What We Offer

The successful candidate will be offered an initial contract to June 2025 with the view to extend for a further 12 months. This is a rewarding opportunity with daily rates $$$ that reflects the importance of this role in the company.
