We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Health, Safety & Wellness professional to join our esteemed client's team in Port Hedland. This is a permanent opportunity with a relocation allowance and housing provided.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive workplace health, safety, and wellness programs.
- Maintain compliance with WHS regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular workplace health and safety audits.
- Oversee the implementation, compliance, and management of the WHS Management System and Audit programs.
- Design and deliver health and safety training programs.
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports as required.
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety (Advanced Diploma or Higher).
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020, Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act, and WHS legislation.
- Proven experience in leading a team of workplace health, safety, and wellness professionals.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and/or experience in designing and delivering health and safety training (Desirable).
- ICAM Qualification or experience in investigating workplace incidents (Desirable).
