Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pathology Collector to join our team at a medical laboratory network operating across Australia. As a Pathology Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, while delivering exceptional customer service and quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting samples with care and attention.
  • Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample.
  • Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times.
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing.
  • Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously in a solo clinic.
  • Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
  • Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain one.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or valid visa with permission to work.

Vaccination Requirements:

Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role, along with other vaccinations based on location.
