Job Opportunity

A dynamic position is available for a Project Engineer, responsible for spearheading engineering, planning, and coordination efforts on projects from contract award to delivery. The role involves providing technical expertise to personnel, managing procurement activities, and project reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, coordinate, and monitor work activities to achieve project plans, work scopes, and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance on design, fabrication, construction, and installation of piping systems and infrastructure.
  • Manage procurement activities within project schedules and specifications.
  • Compile technical information and drawings for work packs and develop material take-offs (MTOs).
  • Perform project close-out activities, including punch listing and management document review compilation.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-disciplinary project teams in the Australian Energy/Oil & Gas sector.
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&ID diagrams.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles related to offshore project lifecycles, from front-end engineering design (FEED) to decommissioning.
  • Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering).
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and Project required; Primavera P6 desirable.
