About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Lifestyle Solutions. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and support customers to develop their personal interests and skills
  • Coach independent living skills, including cooking, domestic, and social skills
  • Administer medication and adhere to individual support plans
  • Complete clear and concise handover notes and incident reports
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when required
  • Help customers engage with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities
Requirements
  • Current Australian Driver's License (mandatory requirement)
  • Own car and comprehensive car insurance
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or be willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID011
  • Minimum 2 doses of Covid-19 Vaccinations
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar (advantageous)
