- Documentation and Reporting: Complete clear, concise, and factual handover notes and incident reports, maintaining accurate records and facilitating effective communication.
- Personal Care: Provide personal care services such as toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when required, respecting the dignity and autonomy of our customers.
- Community Engagement: Facilitate customers' engagement with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities, promoting social inclusion and connection.
- Communication Skills: Possess versatile communication skills, including the ability to interact with both verbal and non-verbal customers, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Driver's License: Hold a current driver's license, as this is a mandatory requirement for the role.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance: Possess a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or be willing to obtain one, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- First Aid Certificate: Hold a current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003, demonstrating a commitment to customer safety and well-being.
- Covid Vaccinations: Be up to date with Covid vaccinations, prioritizing the health and safety of our customers and staff.
- Qualifications: Possess formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar, which would be advantageous in this role.
