Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Growth

MongoDB is a leading developer data platform that empowers innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries. We're seeking a highly driven Senior Enterprise Account Executive to formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in revenue growth.
About the Role
This role focuses exclusively on expanding business within existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market, with a focus on expanding new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales pipelines
- Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users
- Build strong relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
- Partner with Solution Architects and the Customer Success team to achieve customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partner to maximize deal sizes
- Participate in sales enablement trainings, including the Sales Bootcamp and leadership development programs
Requirements
- 10+ years of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced market
- Demonstrated ability to sell into new lines of business within open accounts and run complex sales processes
- Proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
- Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
- Fluent in English
- Ability to attend the office 3 days per week
- Driven and competitive, with a strong desire to succeed
- Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
