Grounds Maintenance Professional

Our team is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Professional to maintain the grounds and buildings of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain gardens, grounds, and buildings in excellent condition.
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager.
  • Operate tools, machines, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
  • Assist in event setup and takedown.
  • Carry out ground maintenance including mowing, pruning, and line trimming.
  • Collect rubbish and assist other team members as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Be physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold a valid driver's licence.
  • A trade background is desirable but not essential.
