Family Support Specialist

Our team is seeking a Family Support Specialist to provide counseling services to individuals, families, and children in need of short to medium term intervention. This role will involve working within the First 2000 Days and Domestic and Family Violence Frameworks to deliver early intervention strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Social Work or Psychology, with experience in psychosocial assessment and intervention, particularly in domestic violence, postnatal depression, and interpersonal trauma. Additionally, they should have knowledge of Child Protection responsibilities and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) groups, and people from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds.
