Our ideal candidate will lead the commercial and supply chain strategy for a new Rare Earths project in Malawi.
Key Responsibilities:- Broaden and execute the commercial and supply approach from construction through ramp-up to steady state operation.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing and tendering for mining, processing, logistics, camp services, reagents, fuel, and utilities.
- Negotiate and administer contracts, including variations, claims, KPIs, and performance reviews.
- Establish materials management, inventory, and warehousing systems.
- Secure inbound supply to site and outbound product logistics along the regional corridor to port.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial, supply, or contracts management in mining or minerals processing.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong negotiation, tendering, and contract administration skills.
- Solid budgeting and financial analysis with clear reporting.
We are looking for a professional with strong leadership skills who can drive our commercial and supply strategy forward.
