Job Opportunity: Surgical Account Manager

The primary objective of this role is to act as the main point of contact for Alcon in Surgical Accounts and ensure smooth coordination and business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive total Alcon sales performance in the territory by ensuring strong customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute account plans for Cataract-dominant and selected Monofocal IOLs.
  • Derive insight and intelligence from the current customer environment to inform commercial execution.
  • Provide end-to-end customer support for Cataract customers.
  • Map decision-making processes and key stakeholders to inform business planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of Cataract procedures, equipment, and consumables, as well as IOL offerings.
  • Sales experience in medical devices and/or Pharma environments within a surgical setting.
  • Ability to upgrade procedures through additional cataract consumables and Phaco accessories.
  • General understanding of surgical techniques and anatomy, physiology, pathology, and optics.
  • Customer-orientated mindset and strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Territorial management and ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • Flexibility, motivation, self-confidence, goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of drive.
