About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering design services and advice across a range of market sectors, including commercial, aviation, healthcare, education, and defence.

As a Mechanical Engineer in our team, you will have the opportunity to grow your technical experience, work on diverse projects, and establish well-defined procedures. You will be supported by senior engineers and multidisciplinary professionals, and will have the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver design services and advice across a range of market sectors
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and support the team in client delivery
  • Grow technical experience as part of an experienced team
  • Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision
  • Prepare technical design documentation under senior guidance and assist with the incorporation of sustainable mechanical design initiatives
Requirements
  • BEng in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge or exposure to Camel or IES software (not essential but advantageous)
  • Experience working for a Building Services Consultancy or have demonstrable design experience working as a Mechanical Engineer for a Contractor or State Government
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of standards, requirements, and legislation related to building services design in Queensland
  • Prior experience or understanding of Revit, not essential but advantageous
  • Australian Citizen, and ability to obtain a Defence Clearance
