We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Director to join our Building Services Team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and delivering high-quality results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver complex projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Lead Mechanical design and project delivery for major client projects, including technical review and client relationship management.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of engineers to produce comprehensive documentation and drive quality through review of design calculations, specifications, models, and drawings.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers in preparing technical design documentation.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Building Services consultancy or Mechanical Contracting field, with RPEQ qualification or Chartership with a relevant professional body.
  • Proven record in technical design and project delivery, with a strong focus on client relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of Building Services projects and Standards, with the ability to impart technical knowledge to clients, junior engineers, and broader teams.
  • Experience in running multiple technical projects simultaneously, with demonstrable design experience across various market sectors.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to mentor and train younger engineers.
  • Drive quality, innovation, and efficiency improvements within the team.
