The role of Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer is a vital one in supporting the educational and cultural needs of Indigenous students.
Suitable applicants will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with families and the local community.
Key responsibilities include developing an education program that meets both educational and cultural needs, providing mentorship and pastoral care for students, and building positive relationships with families and community leaders.
Achieving this will require the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their commitment to delivering high-quality educational services and making a tangible difference in the community.
They will also possess a range of interpersonal and technical skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
