Vacation Student

• Run from December 2025 to February 2026 (aligned with your university break).
• Allow you to work closely with and be supported by your assigned mentor (a Yara engineer) and an allocated buddy (a Yara Graduate or Employee) for the duration of the program.
• Give you the opportunity to work on two projects over 12 weeks. You will develop and deliver a presentation on one of your completed projects to the Yara Pilbara Leadership team.
• Provide you with a vacation student progress review by your mentor during the program.
• Help you develop your technical and professional skills through hands-on experience as an engineer working for Yara Pilbara.

• All candidates must submit a cover letter and resume as part of the application.
• Applicants must be currently completing their penultimate year, or final year, of studying a Master's or Honours of Professional Engineering specialising in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Applications will be accepted only from students attending a Western Australian University.
• Only applicants with permanent work rights in Australia will be eligible to apply.
• As this position is based in the Karratha, WA, candidates must be willing to relocate to Karratha for the full 12-week duration of the program. Yara Pilbara does not offer any fly-in fly-out arrangements for its employees; this also applies to vacation students. Vehicle relocation and furnished accommodation will be provided as part of the vacation position.
