Job Description

Lifestyle Support Assistants play a vital role in enabling our clients to live and age well in their own homes. We provide tailored support to ensure individuals receive the care they need, with compassion and respect.

As a Lifestyle Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Personal Care: assisting with showering, dressing, medication, continence care
  • Domestic assistance: meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaning
  • Social Support / Transportation: travelling to medical appointments, community access, providing companionship
  • Assisting with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, etc.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Assisting with mobility and transferring
  • Monitoring the overall wellbeing of clients, recognising and reporting changes appropriately

Requirements
  • A passion for caring and supporting people to live their best lives
  • Respectful and polite, maintaining professional boundaries while being friendly
  • Current driver's licence and own insured vehicle – travel is part of the role
  • Completed a Certificate III in Aged, Community, or Disability Support or willing to obtain
  • Covid-19 Vaccinated
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening / Yellow Card or willing to obtain
  • Current Police Check and willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
