Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate support professional to join our team in QLD.

This role involves travelling between clients' homes providing person-centred care and support with daily living and lifestyle requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
  • Assisting with domestic tasks, such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Supporting clients with social activities, shopping/groceries, and travelling to medical appointments
  • Helping clients use aids and personal equipment, including standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets, or moving boards, hearing aids, and other physical aids
  • Maintaining the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services
  • A current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • A current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • A current and satisfactory Yellow Card & Blue Card and meeting NDIS workers screening check requirements
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence
  • A reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)
  • A smartphone with internet access
