We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Capability Investment Officer to join our team at Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of business capability modeling and strategic investment planning to improve capability maturity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to capability owners and service leads to ensure the effective review of their capability and that investment enhances the delivery of the department's capabilities.
- Manage a small team to support the successful management and delivery of a portfolio management office that will support strategic programs, projects, and other QFES investment initiatives.
- Provide professional advice to support strategic oversight in the development of methodology and supporting frameworks regarding capability and investment management.
- Knowledge and understanding of capability management or previous experience working with business capability or improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge and/or qualifications in project management; or previous experience leading; or working in a project or portfolio management environment.
