Experienced Interior Designer Wanted

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Interior Designer to join a thriving Design and Construction firm. They are on the lookout for someone that has passion for commercial fit-outs and wants to grow in their close-knit team.

This role offers the experience to be hands-on, part of the design decisions, drive project outcomes – rather than just being a number in a team.

The Role:
  • Design and Document Projects
  • Maintain Quality Standards
  • Meet Deadlines and Budgets
  • Work Collaboratively with Clients and Tradespeople
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create models and visuals using computer applications/design software (such as Revit / ArchiCAD / AutoCAD)
  • Research and prepare plans, diagrams or sketches for interior constructions, materials, finishes, lighting and furnishing
  • Select suppliers of materials and finishes
  • Conceptualize and sketch design plans
  • Ensure project documentation and administration is set up completely
  • Coach, mentor and upskill your team
Requirements:
  • 6+ years experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design or relevant
  • Australian experience and knowledge of the local building codes
  • Proficient in softwares including ArchiCAD, AutoCAD or Revit
  • Experience in commercial fitouts, specifically workplace
  • Australian working rights
