As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting a healthy work environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs and initiatives to improve workplace safety.
  • Support line leaders in reporting and investigating incidents, and validating health and safety data.
  • Participate in local health and safety committees and forums, communicating regulatory changes and impacts.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in a related field.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in executing and supporting health and safety processes and initiatives for large organizations.

You will also have a willingness to travel and a proven track record of coaching and mentoring others to improve health and safety performance.
