Director of Student Wellbeing and Development

The Leader of Wellbeing and Practice position is pivotal in driving school strategic wellbeing and social inclusion initiatives. This involves providing operational line management and practice leadership to youth workers and young people, fostering collaborative relationships with the Principal, site leadership team, teachers, and educational assistants.
To excel in this role, a deep understanding of Catholic educational values is essential. The successful applicant must also be committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for students. A minimum of 5 years' experience in youth work, social services, or health professions is required, along with tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or related health sciences.
Leadership skills, self-directed application of knowledge, and the ability to develop site-based wellbeing programs tailored to student needs are key attributes for success in this position.
