Delivering Enhanced Mental Health Services for Young People
Job SummaryThis role involves supporting young people through mental health services in Geraldton and surrounding areas. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering psychological interventions, conducting comprehensive assessments, participating in clinical case reviews, and providing supervision to internal staff.
You will work closely with external community and clinical services to ensure coordinated care for young people within the YES program. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to consult, negotiate, and work effectively with team members and other professionals.
About You- A Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and registration with AHPRA is required.
- Proficiency in clinical psychological assessment, therapy, and interview techniques with young people is essential.
- The ability to adapt various psychological assessments and treatment techniques for complex presentations is necessary.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to consult and liaise with team members and other professionals, are required.
