As a key member of our team, the Healthcare Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's administrative functions.

About the Role:
  • This position involves liaison with patients, multi-disciplinary staff, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for maximising hospital revenue through eligible admitted patients, by identifying opportunities and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • A significant aspect of this role is managing patient queries related to the Private Patient Incentive Program, providing timely and accurate responses to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • In addition, they will undertake various edit checks and invoice flags on the electronic patient billing system to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a government department or healthcare setting is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong customer service focus, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of healthcare financial systems and processes is a must, as well as proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and Excel.
