Contract Support Specialist

The Role:

  • Provide critical support for a diverse range of projects.
  • Review and negotiate commercial terms, build relationships with stakeholders, collaborate with project teams, and oversee contract administration and reporting.

About You:

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role (2+ years for more senior candidates).
  • A solid understanding of commercial contracts within mining/resources or infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong stakeholder relationships.

Requirements:

  • Review and negotiate contract terms.
  • Maintain and update clarification registers.
  • Coordinate commercial correspondence and ensure effective management of supporting documentation.
  • Support contract award, project setup, and sign-off documentation.
  • Assist project teams with compliance, performance tracking, and key project meetings.
  • Engage and assess subcontractors in line with head contract obligations.
  • Prepare and process payment claims, invoices, and variations.
  • Contribute to commercial and project reporting, including KPIs, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Assist with pre-qualifications and tender submissions.
  • Deliver internal reporting on costs, hours, and forecasting.
