Director of Production

As a production leader, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage production activities to guarantee safety and environmental performance.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles to boost operational productivity and quality.
- Manage labor and production budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Implement operator maintenance and inspection programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production management roles or similar positions.
- Engineering, process, or manufacturing-related tertiary qualification preferred.
- Experience working in high-performing complex manufacturing or FMCG organizations.
- An eye for detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work autonomously.
- Commitment to health and safety.
- Ability to manage projects and possess financial acumen.
