Job Description
The Senior Risk Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies and processes, leading and mentoring a team of risk professionals, and liaising with various departments to align risk management strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of risk professionals.
- Liaise with various departments to align risk management strategies with business goals.
- Manage internal and external audits.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations.
- Deliver regular risk reports to senior stakeholders.
- Establish a proactive risk culture within the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards.
Requirements
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in risk management within the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor a team.
- Outstanding communication and report-writing skills.
- A thorough understanding of risk management frameworks and strategies.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
