Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of food and beverage services.
  • Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid New South Wales Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
  • Australian working rights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
