About the Role

The Professional Services Consultant will oversee implementations and consultative engagements for the Proofpoint Information Protection Platform (Insider Threat Management (ITM) On-Premise and SaaS, Email DLP, Endpoint DLP, Cloud Application Security Broker (CASB), Proofpoint Intelligent Classification, Web Security) as well as third party DLP solutions (Microsoft + Symantec DLP offerings).

This individual will develop new services, implement best practices, and assist in customer escalations as needed. The ideal candidate has the demonstrated ability to ensure successful service delivery and customer success.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly scope engagements through assessing the client's operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations for improvements to optimize Proofpoint technologies.
  • Provide solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data, and people.
  • Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.
  • Work closely with your corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction continues to rank high.
  • Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Minimum of 5 years consulting experience (Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security or Cloud Security focus preferred)
  • Preferred experience with Windows Server + web infrastructure (IIS, MS SQL)
  • Preferred experience with Linux infrastructure
  • Preferred background with Microsoft or Symantec DLP Must be able to clearly write and explain concepts in documentation and deliverables
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining consulting best practices Dedication to client service with a confident, comfortable in-person and virtual presence
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail Self-motivated with ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously
