Comprehensive Mental Health Specialist

This comprehensive role is designed to provide independent clinical care coordination, psychological and psychosocial interventions to support the mental wellbeing of Residential Aged Care residents.
The Senior Clinician will work collaboratively with consumers, their families, and other stakeholders to deliver individualised psychological interventions, optimising function and promoting dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based clinical care coordination and psychological interventions
- Support consumers in their psychosocial recovery aiming to optimise functioning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Registered Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Counselling
- Registration with relevant professional bodies or eligibility to register
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in the mental health field, preferably working with older persons
