This is a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist position in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients with mental health needs.

About the Role

As a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide safe and effective care to patients in crisis, conduct assessments and develop treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Deliver high-quality care to patients with mental health needs
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Skills and Experience Required

We are seeking a qualified and experienced psychiatrist who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registration as a medical practitioner with the relevant authority
  • Completion of a specialist psychiatry training program
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Specialist Psychiatrist
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a psychiatric setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
