Job Role: NDIS Recreation Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support individuals living with disabilities, empowering them to make their own choices and grow their independence.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a passion for delivering high-quality support services.

  • Provide individualized support to participants with complex needs, facilitating their participation in recreational activities.
  • Collaborate with participants, family members, and other stakeholders to develop personalized plans that promote independence and community inclusion.
  • Communicate effectively with employers, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure seamless support delivery.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and initiative to address barriers and challenges, promoting successful employment outcomes.
Key Requirements:
  • A current full Australian driver's license is essential.
  • The ability to meet COVID-19 vaccine requirements or obtain an exemption.
  • Relevant NDIS/DHS checks and clearances in accordance with the role requirements.
  • A current first aid certificate and manual handling certification are desirable.
  • Experience working with clinical support plans and interpreting reference materials is essential.
