Job Description

This role involves providing support to participants with high support needs, including those with complex behaviors. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centered supports, facilitating group-based activities and one-on-one supports, and working within the legislative requirements of the NDIS.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the NDIS and its principles, as well as experience in supporting individuals with disabilities. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of people living with disabilities, while also developing your skills and knowledge in the disability sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Full Australian Driver's Licence
  • Relevant NDIS / DHS checks and clearances
  • Experience with interpreting, referencing and providing support from clinical support plans
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate
  • Current Child Safe Environments Certificate
