Seek a highly experienced system assurance professional to drive systems engineering practice in the rail domain. You will develop and deliver services using advanced systems engineering and assurance practice, exercising significant independence and originality in formulating solutions or resolving complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver systems assurance and engineering services using advanced practice.
  • Exercise high degree of independence in approach and judgement in formulating solutions or resolving complex systems assurance issues.
  • Manage and deliver projects to clients within designated practice area.
  • Assist with tender and sales activities, identify opportunities for new or follow-on work, and foster good relationships with clients and potential clients.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in safety-critical software development and understanding of high-integrity software development processes and standards.
  • Interpreting and applying relevant standards in engineering delivery projects (e.g., AREMA, CENELEC, ISO/IEC, IEEE).
  • Advanced communication skills, including business writing and presentations.
  • Client relationship and negotiation skills with excellent leadership and ability to influence at all levels.
