About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Ingenia Communities. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional guest services, and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain rooms, common areas, and other workspaces to meet health and safety standards
  • Restock linen, towels, and cleaning supplies as needed
  • Empty bins and transport waste to designated areas
  • Ensure all appliances and equipment are clean and in good working order
  • Remove expired food from refrigerators and freezers
  • Replenish supplies and amenities in rooms and common areas
  • Disinfect and sanitize equipment and surfaces
  • Report any damage, theft, or maintenance issues to the Site Manager
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment
