About the Opportunity

Clinical professionals with expertise in Alcohol and Other Drugs are sought to fill a key leadership role within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become a vital contributor to our dynamic specialty drug and alcohol team, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts to drive excellence in clinical practice.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance service delivery, leveraging evidence-based research and best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant health discipline, such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Clinical Psychology.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • A minimum of five years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least three years full-time equivalent experience in the Alcohol and Other Drugs field, and postgraduate qualifications relevant to the speciality.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework and demonstrate commitment to excellence in clinical practice.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of the practice development framework.
  • Ability to develop and implement change initiatives, utilising evidence-based research and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
