Job Title: Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. You will provide one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and support services to help individuals overcome their addiction and achieve long-term recovery.

This position requires a strong understanding of holistic treatment approaches, including screening, assessment, brief intervention, withdrawal management, treatment planning, discharge planning, referral, group work, and community follow-up. You must also be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, nursing).
  • Current registration or licensure to practice as a therapist or counselor.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of holistic treatment approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
