Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping or a related field and possess excellent leadership skills. You should be able to motivate and direct team members effectively to achieve departmental goals.

In this role, you will work closely with the executive housekeeper to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and strategies. You will also be responsible for monitoring staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and strategies to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet hotel standards.
  • Monitor and report on staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on housekeeping activities.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
