Job Title: Sport Development Manager

Recreation and sport are integral to our organization, focusing on creating an environment that maximizes participation, enjoyment of competition, and program participants through the development and implementation of regulations, policies, procedures, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of management to create an environment that maximizes participation, enjoyment of competition, and program participants.
  • Manage and deliver effective and efficient football competitions, club engagement, operations support, and administration of programs and activities.
  • Oversee all football activities within Western Australia across competitions, programming, talent development, coach education pathways, and stakeholder engagement.

The success of recent football initiatives in Western Australia have provided a strong impetus for the growth of the game more broadly. Our strategic plan sets a clear path for the growth of the game and identifies key strategic pillars and focuses, which this role will assist in delivering outcomes for.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing teams in a high-volume, fast-paced customer-focused environment.
  • Implementation of strategic and operational plans.
  • Leadership and management of staff to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills, influencing others, and managing external stakeholders.
  • Dedicated approach to excellent customer service.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Team player with ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision.
