Sports Coordinator

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate sports leader to oversee student engagement in extracurricular activities. This role is pivotal in supporting the College's mission by facilitating high-quality programs that encourage participation, development, and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Sport Program Management: Design and develop interschool sporting opportunities for students in Years 7-12, including SASJ and Senior Sporting teams.

ACC Association Commitment: Manage involvement in ACC interschool carnivals (swimming, cross country, athletics), ensuring growth and high-quality participation.

Team Management: Coordinate interschool teams, manage coaches and officials, organize events and carnivals, and ensure appropriate training, coaching, and equipment for all teams.

Sport Development: Collaborate with the Sport Development Coordinator to elevate athletic programs' profile through competitive opportunities.

Communication & Representation: Promote effective communication with staff, students, and parents regarding all sports activities and represent the College at ACC Sports Management meetings.

Sportsmanship & Values: Ensure all teams embody College values and demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship.

Marketing & Engagement: Coordinate sporting event content for newsletters and marketing materials.

Specialist Programs: Support the development of Specialist Basketball, Soccer, and Netball programs, facilitating representative team participation in relevant competitions.
