Veterinary Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced veterinary professional to join our team as a Small Animal Internal Medicine Intern. This is an outstanding opportunity to work and learn in a busy and supportive referral hospital.
As an intern, you will work under the guidance of our 3 internal medicine specialists and experienced nursing staff. You will have close involvement with our other professional services, including specialists in diagnostic imaging and critical care.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in daily rounds and weekly journal club or case presentations
- Work towards completion of the ANZCVS small animal medicine membership examination
- Contribute to the development of your clinical skills and knowledge
This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience, with opportunities to work in a variety of settings and develop your skills in a supportive environment. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including in-house diagnostic laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, CT and MRI scanners and endoscopy.
We offer a competitive package, including 4 weeks of annual leave and 1 week of study leave with a CE allowance.
Requirements- Eligibility for veterinary registration in QLD
- Current radiation licence
- Excellent communication skills and work ethic
- Strong knowledge base on which to build
Clinical experience is desirable but not essential.
