About the InternshipThis internship provides an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to work and learn in a busy and supportive referral hospital.
As an intern, you will work under the guidance of our experienced internal medicine specialists and nursing staff, and will have close involvement with our other professional services, including specialists in diagnostic imaging and critical care.
You will participate in daily rounds and weekly journal club or case presentations, and will be encouraged to work towards completion of the ANZCVS small animal medicine membership examination.
What We Can OfferThis internship includes 4 weeks of annual leave and 1 week of study leave with a CE allowance.
You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic team environment, and will be encouraged to develop your skills and knowledge in a range of areas, including internal medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this internship, you must be eligible for veterinary registration in QLD, hold a current radiation licence, and have excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Clinical experience is desirable but not essential.
