Internship OverviewAs a medical oncology intern, you will work under the guidance of our experienced medical oncologists and surgical specialist, assisted by skilled nursing staff. You will have close involvement with our other professional services, including specialists in internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and critical care.
Responsibilities- Participate in daily rounds and weekly journal club or case presentations
- Complete a published work during your internship
- Work towards completion of an ANZCVS membership examination (if eligible)
Candidates must be eligible for veterinary registration in QLD, hold a current radiation licence, and possess excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Clinical experience is desirable but not essential.
What We OfferThis internship provides an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to work and learn in a busy and friendly referral hospital. You may also have the chance to work at any of our other sites during the internship. Previous ARH interns have continued on to residency positions worldwide.
The position includes 4 weeks of annual leave and 1 week of study leave with a CE allowance. The internship will commence in January 2025 and is for 12 months with an option to extend to 18 months.
