Water Quality Specialist

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Water Quality Specialist to ensure clean, safe, and operational aquatic environments for all guests.
About the Role:

The Water Quality Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining pool water quality by performing hourly water testing and chemical balancing, recording results accurately, and monitoring water levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform water testing and chemical balancing according to set procedures.
  • Record water chemistry results accurately in logbooks or digital systems.
  • Monitor and maintain pool water levels to ensure optimal conditions.
  • Clean and maintain filters, chlorinators, skimmers, and pool vacuum systems.
  • Inspect and maintain dosing and metering equipment.
  • Assist with scooping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning of pools.
  • Conduct plant room checks to ensure spaces are clean and hazard-free.
  • Support minor repairs and report any faults or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance procedures for pool equipment.
  • Follow instructions and complete daily task checklists.
  • Attend team meetings and safety briefings.
Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):
  • Follow WHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Use safety and personal protective equipment correctly.
  • Demonstrate safe work behaviors and lead by example.
  • Report any WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses to your Manager and First Aid immediately.
  • Actively promote hazard and near-miss reporting.
  • Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss safety topics and contribute to improvements.
