Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Community Living Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retirement village. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents, ensuring their needs are met, and providing exceptional customer service.

The Community Living Manager will be the primary point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be responsible for managing repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments, as well as budgeting and financial management.

The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or a related field, with experience in customer-facing roles. They should possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate resident meetings and ensure their needs are met
  • Manage repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments
  • Oversee occupancy and sales, including negotiations with prospective residents
  • Manage and resolve resident feedback and complaints
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • Background in hospitality or a related field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
