Child Protection Caseworker Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Protection Caseworker to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and welfare of children and young people.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with families, other agencies, and government departments to develop and implement strategies that address safety concerns, provide support, and promote positive outcomes for vulnerable children and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with families to build trust, understanding, and cooperation;
  • Providing individualized support and interventions to meet the unique needs of each family;

Essential qualifications and skills include:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, or a related field;
  • Relevant experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and families;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
  • A valid driver's license and a paid Working With Children clearance number.
